wine tasting at Domaine Carneros. beautiful views. sparkling and pinot flights. booked and planned on a walk home from work. small bites. photo ops. a good start to a great weekend.
a Saturday morning rehearsal at the Calistoga Ranch. loads of confusion. more views, more photos. onto the wine tours.
5 groups. 4 cars. a timed orchestra. Von Strasser. Duckhorn. Paradigm. Signorello. friends making new friends. Rombauer. Cakebread. cabernet flowing. Frog's Leap. Pine Ridge. ZD Wines. things started to get a little silly. Mumm. Kuleto. who doesn't love cheese. Cade. Joseph Phelps. Rubicon. groups making up cheers and chants. just another harvest Saturday in the valley.
rehearsal cocktail reception at the Westin Verasa. twinkling lights. tasty bites. light jazz. photographer stops by for an hour. more wine. bride, MOB and flower dog pack for the Calistoga Ranch and head out. the groom and groomsmen hit the town.

these pics are so gorgeous - i lived out in California for years and just loved it! i miss touring wine country especially.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - how weird! My husband and I got married in Calistoga! August 2010 at Hans Fahden Vineyards. It was gorgeous and we all dined in a wine cave! So crazy to know another Chicago couple marrying in Calistoga! Makes me warm and fuzzy :)
