Give Me Sparkly Any Day

It is very unusual to find an item in a J. Crew store that is not online yet; normally it is the other way around. When shopping with my Mom and Regan on Saturday, my Mom bought me an unexpected, early birthday gift - this sequined open jacket/cardigan to sport over a LBD for the holidays or with jeans for a more laid back sparkly ensemble. For the past two days, I've been searching for it online but haven't had any luck. So, I had to take my own pic!

I love it. I can't help but mention that I feel very Serena Vander Woodsen when wearing it {despite the fact that Blair is definitely my favorite Gossip Girl character}! The bronze color is to die for and adds a bit of sophistication to an otherwise loud piece. I was set on purchasing a little sparkly dress {like the Madewell one I posted last week} for the holidays but think this jacket might be enough to turn any LBD into something special. My apologies now if I over wear it this season as I'm obsessed!
