This bad blogger is coming back!

I've been a VERY bad blogger. Actually, a terrible blogger. At book club last night, my friends reminded me that I've missed two Makeover Mondays and that it has been more than two weeks since my last post. Shame on me! That's what happens when you move your wedding this late in the game ... you get crazy busy. Something I've accomplished while I disappeared from the blogging world ...

Nate and I started our registry at Bloomingdale's and after mixing and matching patterns ended up with this beauty! It's a mix of Vera Wang's " Vera Lace" table setting and Marcesha's "Camellia Painted" and is pretty amazing. We'll have the option to complete the "Vera Lace" place setting with just a few extra pieces, giving us two different looks.

{you can't really tell from the pictures, but the flatware ties in the gold from the plates with a gold band in the center and a gold ball at the end}

In addition to the registry, we've also started to book flights, secure a hotel and dream up a new Honeymoon!

Bye Bye French Rivera, hello ...

  1. I'm not a huge fan of china, but I really like that. It's fancy but still fun enough where it's not stuffy. Registering is so awesome! :)

  2. Absolutely love the china you chose! Its gorgeous. Mixing and matching is definitely the way to go. Happy you're back!

  3. Welcome back! I love the mix and match of these patterns.

  4. Registering is such a fun part of getting married :) That china is beautiful, and I love how you mixed it. Welcome back!

  5. Love this china! and think that the white balances the floral so well!
