Run-in with the Gaztro-Wagon

Last Saturday, Ashley and I ventured out in the rain to the Ravenswood Art Walk. We were not super impressed with the walk and were beginning to complain that it was cold. That is until we ran into the Gaztro-Wagon and split a Butternut Squash sandwich {naan bread stuffed with butternut squash, mascarpone, sage, hazelnuts and poached onions}. It was the perfect afternoon treat for two girls who are obsessed with all things Fall! Thank you Chicago for lifting your ban on food trucks; hopefully many more will be driving around the city soon!

Follow them on Twitter@wherezthewagon or text GaztroWagon to 41411.

For those of you who work downtown, the Gaztro-Wagon will be at the Merchandise Mart for lunch tomorrow and at The Sears Tower {still refusing to call it the Willis Tower} on Friday. They offer everything from Warm Lobster Clubs to Duck Confit - Bon Appetite!
